WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU MEET YOUR ATTORNEY

The first 1/2 hour consult is no charge.  After the first half hour you will be charged our regular hourly rate so be organized

Please complete the Client Data Sheet so Attorney Weddleton can immediately discuss your legal matter.

Prior to the first meeting you will be asked to bring all relevant documents including contracts, deeds, letters, e-mails and court papers.

At the first meeting, you will be asked for a concise explanation of your legal matter.  The attorney will ask you some questions to clarify things.

If you want to retain attorney Weddleton and he is willing to accept your case, Attorney Weddleton will explain the legal process and what will be expected of you and what you can expect.

PAYMENT:

Even if the Attorney Weddleton does not mention it, you should discuss legal fees,  Once your case is accepted you will be asked to sign a "representation agreement" which outlines the terms of the legal reprentation, including how fees will be charged and paid.  Don't be afraid to ask about fees.

Facts About Attorney Weddleton:

Roy is both a businessman and a lawyer.  Before getting his law degree in 1985, he earned a Master's in Public Administration.  He was the first coordinator of Family Planning Services in New Hampshire; he has owned an indoor tennis club and an automotive franchise; he was a partner in his own law firm for 23 years and taught in the paralegal programs at various colleges in the State.

It is this varied experience beyond law that enables Roy to quickly assess and resolve many legal matters.
