Attorney Roy Weddleton

Attorney Roy Weddleton
Attorney Weddleton is both a businessman and lawyer. Before getting his law degree, he earned a Master of Public Administration. He was the first Coordinator of Family Planning Services in New Hampshire; he has owned an indoor tennis club and an automotive business. He taught "Real Estate Law" at various New Hampshire colleges for 10 years. He continues to offer longtime New Hampshire landowners a unique opportunity to develop their land at no cost or risk through his innovative company, Moo-Land Rouge Development Services. That varied experience enables him to quickly assess and resolve many legal situations.

Attorney Weddleton is a ranked senior tennis player rising as high as No. 2 in New England. If he is not in the office on a warm summer day at noon, he can often be found at the Bow Brook Club. His new love is fly fishing and passes the cold winter months tying his own flies. When not playing tennis, he plays golf, getting his handicap down to 16 but hoping to reduce it to 12 this year. Otherwise, when he is able, he kayaks in the summer and skis in the winter.

As a lawyer, Attorney Weddleton is regarded as friendly and approachable, and very practical. He focuses on real estate and especially land development. He handles all the criminal and traffic related matters in the firm (sorry no felonies), as a result of his extensive work in law school and as a former prosecutor for two New Hampshire towns. Much of his daily practice revolves around consumer matters, including contract disputes and personal injury.

Attorney Weddleton loves being in the courtroom, but also knows that litigation is often a terrifying, let alone expensive, experience for many clients.

However, trials often result because one side is emotional and perhaps irrational. They may also believe the other side will not go to trial. Attorney Weddleton is not a paper litigator, but rather an experienced trial lawyer. Having handled varied trials in various New Hampshire courts, his clients know he will go the distance for them.
