GETTING FREE FROM DEBT

The purpose of bankruptcy is to afford to a person who is burdened with debt the opportunity to free themselves of that debt, and start fresh with a new lease on life. Bankruptcy exists to help you cope with a financial crisis.

It may not be necessary for you to file bankruptcy. Attorney Jordan can help you determine your best course. Call him for help to get back on your feet.

Are debt collectors calling you? We can help! You may be able to tell creditors and collection agencies to call us instead. If you file bankruptcy, you may obtain a court order prohibiting debt collectors from calling you at all. Call for an appointment to meet with Attorney Jordan to see if you can stop the calls from debt collectors.

Are you behind in your house payments or car payments? If your lender has threatened foreclosure or repossession, a Chapter 13 plan may allow you to keep your house or car.

There are many types of bankruptcy. Those types are identified in slang by the chapter of the bankruptcy code in which that type is described. For example, Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13. Attorney Jordan can help you decide which, if any, is right for you.
