Re-Check Your Ford BroncoSince the 1980s there have been over 600 lawsuits against Ford for premature rollover of the Ford Bronco. Many of those cases settled in large part because Ford had used a former Ford engineer, David J. Bickerstaff, as its expert, who worked on the Ford Bronco and always testified that it was "safe and did not have a propensity to roll over." However, in a case in South Carolina, an attorney has found out that Mr. Bickerstaff was paid as much as $5 million for his favorable testimony over the years for Ford. This was information that was never disclosed.
